I WAS CONFUSED BY A NOTICE IN GLASGOW.

I thought it stated: 2HUACS — but what could that mean? If I had been coming form the opposite direction, it would have read, 4ORCES.
Only when you are facing directly in front of the door is it possible to read the actual message: 24 HOUR ACCESS (by which time, it would probably be too late).
Thing are getting worse when everyday life is made more difficult by the addition of cryptic conundrums in street signs.
